  • Gaim, Gnome 2.8 and Debian Sid....

Lately I've been having this really odd behavior. Gaim loads up before the Gnome Panel applets do. So every time I log in, the GAIM System Tray icon (that goes into the notification area) does not appear until I either quit Gam and reload it, or I go into Gaim's plugin setup and disable, then enable the System Tray icon.

Any ideas how to make the notification area load sooner? GnomeICU does the same thing.... It's getting really irritating. It's been doing this for a while now.

Is there a way to tell the Gnome session manager what to load first?
