Does YUY2 work under W95 w/ vt 1.52e ?

I've been through all of the registry hacks
and even hacked vcap16.dll to enable YUY2.
Tried to capture with both Ulead's Video
Capture program and AVI_IO, but both fail
the same way with a "No buffer allocated"
message which is apparently coming from the
matrox driver.

I'm running W95R2 with a Marvel G200 w/ 16M
with current video drivers and video tools.
Should this work ? Do I have to "upgrade"
to W98 ?

Not quit sure that you have to upgrade, but it might be better if you did. But also consider how much hard dirve space and memory you have. I have upgraded my computers three times. Now running 98se on a 820 chipset Asus P3C200 motherboard Ultra ATA66, 600b PIII, 256 Meg SDRAM, only because I couldn't afford the RAMBUS which is over $800.00 for 128MEG of RAMBUS. And runinng two 34.5 IBM Ultra ATA66 hard drives.
Only because I couldn't afford the SCSI 3 hard drives yet. The rule I have experienced the more you have in your computer the better. Getting back to 98se, with it you will at least have the lastest drivers to use. which will allow you to do what you want.
