G400 Marvel MJPEG Codec

Once I capture something using my Matrox Marvel G400 (win98/celeron 700) I would like to use another machine to do the video editing (win2k/Pentium 4/Geforce 3). Problem is my other machine apparently doesn't have the right codec installed in order to view/edit the mjpeg files.

What do I need to do to fix this?

Robert:

The Matrox codec only works with the Matrox hardware installed. However, you can install a third party MJPEG codec on the other machine. This will allow you to play and edit MJPEG files. I use Pic Video. It was free when I got it, but is now $25. I believe it is well worth it. You can capture with it as well, if you have YUY enabled. Pic Video gives me the peace of mind of knowing I will be able to see all my clips without necessary being tied to Matrox for life.
