Jack,
I understand what you are saying and am in no way trying to undermine Ulead's claims. In fact, I'm sure the g400, g450, g550, and Parhelia work perfectly with MS Pro's tv out RT function and playback to tv with NO black border around the image. Matrox has had this under control for quite some time.
The real question is regarding the ATI cards, and eventually the nVidia cards once MS Pro compatibility begins to appear. And I'm talking more about tv out without a black border around the image (an ATI issue) rather than dual head functionality.
There have been quite a few different iterations of the ATI cards with TV out, different TV out hardware, and drivers. In addition, some people report tv out without black border around the image and some with the black border.
The purpose of this thread is to simply verify dual head functionality with specific ATI cards and drivers, and to see if the user can expect to get a tv out image without a black border. BTW, from my experience around the web I have noticed more people have success with tv out images without the black border with PAL cards.
At this point, if anyone that has an nVidia card can tell us if their card can do tv out without the black border around the image.
