  • Which Editing software do you use?

Just trying to get an idea of what your favorite/most used software is.

I'm trying to get some more useful content up and as always I'd appreciate the feedback.

If your software isn't listed please select other and post the name of the software. Also any other comments or requests are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

The poll should allow multiple selections for those of us that use more than one program.

I personally use MSPro7 on all my non-propriatory hardware based systems and Premiere on the RT.X100 rig.

Still getting a few 'Others' there.
The more information you supply me the more I can lay my hands on for reviews/content.

Really, it's all I need to piece together the 30 second low quality clips from my digital still camera. Well, the one I used to have, before it was stolen

                          other software I use:
                          - fast purple (when at work)
                          - at home I am currently having a look at MainActor 5 (I don't like premiere much, I have to admit, so I am looking for a replacement) and I plan to look closely at canopus' edius software when it gets out of beta status.
I had a chance to look at it at Cebit this year and I have to admit that I was impressed. Lots of thinking seems to have went into a lot of details which make work easier ;-).

                          greetings,

How can Studio 8 not be on the list?

I love Ulead MediaStudio Pro for complicated projects, but I find I'm using Pinnacle Studio 8 more and more. I'm rather surprised that Studio 8 isn't included in the poll as I'm sure it outsells most, if not all, of the editing programs that are listed.

I suppose this begs the question- Is this forum interested in a greater number of members (and posts), or is it catering to an elite "few"?
