Soundblaster Audigy OEM

I'm staring at getting one of these guys to get rid of my Hercules Game Theater XP, if Hercules doesnt get off their ass and release new drivers (if you want a good laugh go over to the Hercules audio support form and watch Gurm tear them a new ****ole LMAO ). Newegg.com has them for $64 bucks which is pretty damn good and if I can find someone to buy the GTXP off me for that amount or more I'll be happy. So my question is what doesnt the OEM verison give you that say a Xgamer or MP3 verisons of the Audigy give?

Reading through those forums makes me glad I didn't buy a Fortissimo II. I've replaced my Vortex 2 with a SB Live! 5.1 (quite a dropp in price since the Audigy kicked in).

Actualy, there is no difference betwen the player and platinum
both cards have the same model number..

I have the Audigy MP3+ and love it. But, if I were to do it again, I would get the OEM seeing that I don't use any of the included software.

Yesterday i've bought a Sb audigy player, retail box. It came with the cd of drivers and a game (Giants- citizen kabuto). Nothing else. I don't know about the OEM stuff but i've read that the OEM dosen't have Firewire. Anyone?
