Unfortunately I think this guy on the rage3D forums was correct. AFAIK you only can flash the card to ONE standard, to be able to use another you have to reflash. How about using ONLY NTSC? Most newer TVs in PAL-land can handle NTSC signals.

Ha ha!
=)
I used the bios editor and fixed so I can chose from all standards. Didn't get pal60 to work bu ntsc works fine. So now I can change standard without rebooting. Only one problem remains... Is it possible to get output for a widescreen TV???
That was the best with the g400, ntsc anamorphic widescreen. Since ntsc resolution really sucks.
Thanx for all help!

Hmmm, you could always try and create some custom resolutions e.g. with PowerStrip. I created a 720x576 PAL resolution to play back DVDs (and circumvent the "grainy-overlay look" problem with the R8500s TVOut at 800x600), so you might succed in a appropriate NTSC widescreen res. But be aware that minor changes in timing can cause huge differences (so you'll probably have to try a few times) and since you have to reboot everytime before you can use your newly created res, it can be a time consuming and thus annoying thing until you get it right.
