Yes that's it, False information. It's gotta be false because it came from someone that is a Matrox beta tester and therefore must be biased.
Greebe,
If I can manage to put together illogical, incoherent, and nonresponsive posts in an ineffective attempt to flame, can I be a moderator here too? Just curious as to what standards (if any) MURC employs.
from what I see so far, Chamsalot is right about the nv25. I found an (apologies) Inquirer article from 6/01 referring to the GF4 as the nv25.
Chammy, I also see something in your first post that does sound like a troll. The way you said "Matrox needs to move to a .13 immediately" sounds, at least to me, like you think they shouldn't even have released the 150nm part.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
Absolutely not Wombat. Why wait with a great product for technology that wasn't available (and from what you and others have advised me, still isn't presently available).
My plea, so to speak, is that Matrox gives Parhelia the platform it deserves... which it cannot do on the current .15 micron process.
I remain steadfast in my belief that until Matrox can up the clock speeds considerably, it will not gain the market share it deserves.
I'm not mistaking you for Logan at all. just simply pounding on you for the same thing as Wombat has mentioned... "Matrox needs to move to a .13 immediately"
If you need insight as to how thiese forums are governed the read "The Forum Survival Guide" in the "The Faq Files" forum.

I hope that you can understand that from the juxtaposition of your initial post to me, which came immediately after I explained to everyone that I was not critizing Matrox for releasing the product when it did, it appeared that you were attempting to be a pain in the ass.
I've been around the block long enough to know how to survive in a hostile environment. I've also been the moderator of MaximumPC Magazine's online forums for enough years to know that any attempts to "pound" on newcomers is best left to the most loyal, non-moderator members of the forum. Moderators should at all times be professional and dignified when dealing with forum members, including but not limited to trolls.
Just because I am a moderator doesn't preclude me from saying what is on my mind. I might add was one of my concerns prior to accepting this role as a moderator. Which for the record I was asked todo seeing that I can address a vast meriad of hardware and software related issues not stictly limited to just computers and not something I had per se requested.

So... then... you were drafted into the moderatorship
It never hurts to be friendly. On the otherhand, I'm a firm believer that if you're gonna get into a flame fest, at least have some clue as to who your target is and assess his defensive and offensive capabilities. And for Pete's sake, never make a misstatement of fact! :P
MURC needs a guide to effective flaming, maybe I'll submit one.
Perhaps this thread is getting a liitle stupid!
Come on,guys,we've been there and done that.
(CH) may have a point, but as I said earlier, matrox will probably move to a smaller die, what we should be looking at is a new video card in it's infancy, maturity will come.
greebe, can you now post benchmarks and your feelings about the card?
The benchmarks,I find too misleading and would like to know what the overall speed of the card and are games playable?
Is it much faster than the g400?
Is the image quality good, very good or excellent?
What do you think the future of the card is?
Well increased clock speed and reduction of the die have been mentioned in a few reviews as well.
If the thread is just going to be slanging match between two people perhaps it ought to have the clunk click applied too it.

Weather nut and sad git.
How about writing us one on effective snobbery and presumtiveness while you're at it?
I'm too busy for such menial tasks, but I'm sure you can find the time to do it. I'll proof read it of course to correct your errors. :P
-----------
Alfie asked,
What do you think the future of the card is?
I think the answer lies within your post, to wit, "matrox will probably move to a smaller die." Otherwise, I fear that the limelight enjoyed by Parhelia will be short-lived.
