          Oh by the way, many 1U or 2U chassises only support slimline optical drives, and have only SCSI modules but not 3.5" space...

          I don't know how the BSD support for Nforce is...does anyone have any experience with that? Any reccomended chipsets? Any I should avoid?

              Works pretty well under Linux. Not so sure about BSD.
