Home aint't that bad, not running all those security and sharing stuff will quicken up the system.
I actually use XP pro, but we have a dude at work who is doing devlopment work using the Home version, and we have not encountered any Home specific problems....in fact the simple sharing scheme can be quite refreshing after fecking around with PRO stuff, which is a whole bunch of overkill in a lot of situations.
Any one know of a way of identifying a physical processor as a logical one?

For my purposes XP Home is almost as good as Pro. If you are a home user and want to stay legit on several machines, Home is a much better deal.Comment
