Well Komplett just dropped the price of the OEM XP2500+ to £103.79. My mind is made up.

I'm just tossing up between the Epox 8RDA/8RDA+ or the ASUS A7N8X/A7N8X Delux.

Whatever, I will be ordering tonight

Thanks Tempest, but I think Komplett must have jumped the gun, because those 'new' prices are inline.

          Cheers

Well I thought they probably did, just didn't bother using my built-in dollars-to-euros-to-pounds converter

Is there something I should know about Twinmos? I went for the twinmos/winbond - the reviews seemed fine.

Speak now while there is still a chance to cancel!

Edit: I think Wywywy uses where I would use . I guess I can relax

                    I got me a Barton 2500+, but i 'm AirCooled.
Got it to run at 12*170 so far, 37°C idle, but up to 45°C full load!
                    won't do 12.5*166 for the 2800+ speed.
got it up to 11*200 no probs, but unstable. No voltages have been modified yet.
Just waiting for the 60->80mm fan adapter, so i can fit a larger cfm fan...
Thinking of H2O cooling, but not in the mood for all the hassle yet...(time is not cheap at the mo...)

I have a Barton 2500+ at 12.5*166 , which is 2800+ spec. I have some cheesy watercooling going, and the cpu seems stable at ~39C.. no voltage mod.

well as my mobo doesn't have multiplier or voltage mod, I went in the hard way - gotta love vero board and and dip switches.

air cooled a little warm (peaks at 54c in 3dmark01) my little 2400+ is now running at a 13 multiplier and 166fsb (as per 2700+ specs)

Hmm...Komplett finally packaged my stuff yesterday, although DHL still haven't collected it from them.

A suspicious mind might think this was a ploy to get people ordering from them in an uncompetitive manner...
