    Can anyone tell why theres no 5 : 1 option in this. Just two speaker or spdif. You can then either use A3D direct sound Dolby sound compatable down mix or plain stereo. No headphone options either.
    5 : 1 speakers are set in the creative control panel. Windvd4 does it happily enougth.

    Have you been able to use DVD Genie to turn it on?
    Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

      Probably a cheaper licence ver of PowerDVD that forces you to buy their add-ons.

          Well, in that case go ahead and get WinDVD Platinum. Better picture and sound quality anyway...

            No actually, get a $5 PowerDVD/WinDVD CD that once bundled with some hardware on eBay (and make sure thats multi-channel version).
