G200 AGP

Can anyone help me out there with a problem i have with my new Matrox G200 AGP card?
It runs very well in 3D(openGL and D3D), but in 2D it is VERY silly!
What can be wrong?
My computer is a AMD K6-2 on a Asus P5a
Super socket 7 motherboard!,
and i have Win98! Please Help me!

Did you try slapping it? That usually makes silly things more serious....

You need to provide more info on your system (Matrox driver version number, install method, windows resolution and colour depth, monitor refresh rate, etc.) and please define the technical term "VERY silly"

2D is silly, it was never meant to be. The G200 is just correctly representing it.
