DVD macrovision!

I see that no one has found the way to De-Macrovision the G400 Card... (not the G400-TV or G400+RR Card)
how to do it???
it make me very silly... so i will buy the Hollywood+ and i will be fine!

the macrovison is present in the engine number of Divicore used by the matrox software. An older version would not have these problems.

I've heard that there is one mode: get the 1.28 cinemaster engine....
is that?
many friend of mine tried that and said to me that it doesn't work...

It seems that the 1.28 cinemaster engine is only disabling Macrovision for ATI cards. I tried it but it didn't work.
If someone find a way to disable Macrovision on G400, let us know...

The old Cinemaster didn't work for me either; I get lots of errors when starting the Matrox DVD-Player, or did I do something wrong? I just extracted the Zip to windows\System, since most of the files in the archive where residing there.

Anyway, I had to do a reinstall of the Matrox DVD Player to get things working again.

On a different note: has anybody got the European release of "Heat" working on a h+? I always get a MMSystem 275 error, while all other DVDs (Region 1 and 2) are running perfectly ...

If I could get a penny everytime someone mentioned the 1.028 Cinemaster engine... It only works on ATI cards, ok! Forget it.

I find it strange though, that with all the expertise in the Matrox community, no one has been able to disable Macrovision for the G400/PowerDesk.

The one who does will be a HERO.

(Footnote: I don't want to make illegal copies of any DVD, it's my TV that doesn't like Macrovision.)
