I was unable to run my copy of SoftDVD that came with the G200 DVD addon until I attempted to install the PowerDVD timelimited demo. PowerDVD asked if I wanted to replace the SoftMpeg driver with the PowerMpeg driver so I indicated yes. Ever since doing this both PowerDVD and SoftDVD are working and the SoftDVD will run without any time limits (as it should). The SoftDVD even uses the hardware addon card since it is much clearer and is more able to multitask than PowerDVD. My only current problems are 1)frequent BSOD when running Communicator and SoftDVD at the same time, 2)problems with using my Panasonic 24X CDRom now that I also have a Panasonic DVD in the system and 3) getting an Mpeg player that can read the DVDs under OS/2 (drive works fine as a CDRom drive).
Hope this helps,
