STUPID G400MAX Question...

Hi all,
I'm guessing this is a totaly dumb question since it looks like no-one asked this before..

I'm enjoying my newly purchased G400MAX, BUT, it came with a mounted fan that wasn't attached to anything in the other end..

1. Is it really neccessary to attach it?
2. WHERE do I attach it to?! To the motherboard somewhere or to the card itself?

it should be attached to the board itself.

if there nowhere to put it (look for a white plastic connecter) your board is broken.

2nd: Do you mean the powercable isn't connected to the board ???

You definitely need the fan running, otherwise you might experience image corruption and/or lockups sue to too much heat.

No it is not necessary to attach it! But attaching it will help coll down the card!

BTW: I cant realy figure ot if this was a real stupid Q or an inteligent one!
