The demo doesn't work at all.
The actual game works well, although there is no water when you run in 32 bit color. At the moment I am playing it in 16 bit color.
The highest resolution I can play in is 1600x1200, mainly because i have a 19" monitor that supports that resolution.

I think that's about all the info I can think of right now...

Yes I seem to be experiencing the same problem as you Evil.
This is the first game out of like 20 I have played that doesn't work. Well its a demo but nontheless.
Have you got it to work yet?

Works great here - 32 Bit Color at 1024x768 is the highest the game can go.

I have a G400 SH 32MB and have been unable to get the demo of Heavy Gear II to work at all. It just crashes out when I try to launch a mission.

Has anyone tried the full version with a G400 and does it work?
