Well, after quite a bit of searching, I've managed to locate 4 of those skins at one of the subsites of Nali City. But I can't find the rest of them. So I have to ask again (hehe, Maggi asked first) where we can download these skins? (I'm assuming they can all be found on a single site somewhere?)

I sent all the updates to Oboy so that he can put it on his site. In the meantime, you can connect to our server, have download enabled and away you go.

Some of the skins won't be seen until you install the mod enabler. This will have to be downloaded from Oboy's site.

I have all but the Alita, Hunter, LordMaul, StarCraft Terrain Marine Skins on the site now. All the mod files are there also.

Haig, I must not have gotten all the files you sent. My ISP only lets me have so much mail size, page size, BW use, BUT I do get a real good ping!(285-8000) Ill down load them tomorrow and post them.

Kruzin, If you use that one fem_fatal skin I was looking at EVERYONE will be after you like Dogs in heat!! LOL

I d/led a bunch of skins from the game server but gave up on the infiltration file, just too big.. I'll have to get that one at work.


By the way, where do you enable or disable Server downloads in UT??? I couldn't play last night, takes too long to D/L at 26400.

Do we have to have the skins installed on our system to see another player wearing them? If so will the game automatically download it when we start? I don't want to mess with downloading and installing the skins that I have no interest in wearing.

Sorry I missed you all last night. Got kind of busy around the house, so I didn't get online for more than a few minutes. Thanks for the info about the location for the skins, too, Krusin. That was the site I was looking at when I got the few I found, so obviously I was looking in the wrong area.

Kindness- To the best of my experience, your system will download those skins from the server(since the server makes them available for use, all clients need them in case someone uses one). Basically, yeah, you need 'em, and yeah, the server will send them.

Despite the fact that the server [/i]will[/i] allow you to download them, there's really two good reasons to go ahead and download them from elsewhere and install them yourself. The first is that you won't have to wait on the download at the beginning of a game (believe me, it can stink missing most of a match while waiting on those to complete). The other is that by installing them yourself, you'll have them available if you ever need to reinstall. So you won't have to go through the download bit again!
