Got to admit Maggi's color version is nicer ... would add to the T-Shirt cost though.

It shouldn't add much to the cost tho... only one litho layer of color would need to be added to create such a magnificient piece of work!

The MURC is geeking me out enough that I might even buy one if it was of high quality (thick, 100 percent cotton, long lasting silkscreen, etc.)

Maggi: I will not have my creative genius questioned. Who do you think you are messing with my work of art?

Just kidding. I like the blue color much better than my original. I have the bigger version of the pic (490X347) so maybe we can change it for the t-shirts, if they happen.

Thanks for the votes, everyone. Your checks are in the mail.

I maybe a little late for this but, what if ...
                  (please Kindness, forgive me)

                  Cheers,

PS: I really like your logo, Kindness, I was just thinking about an option to make it a bit more related to MURC, hence the blue color tone

I would certainly be interested in a t-shirt, only problem is the shipping cost to Denmark

Not even that. You just take dark blue t-shirts (preferably Royal MURC Blue) and print the luminosity data in white.

Looks to me like you would need A) a black or a dark navy blue shirt with perhaps white, and at least two shades of blue or B) a royal blue shirt with perhaps white, light blue, and black or C) a light blue shirt with black, white, and royal blue or D) a white shirt with black, and at least two shades of blue. In all cases, you can replace white with an even lighter shade of blue for the lightning.

I assumed a white T for the basis of my previous post... that'll keeps cost down to a minimum.

I must not be very hip to the T-Shirt industry. Why would it cost more to shade the logo blue? It seems to me that it would make no difference if it were grey, purple, blue or some other color. Isn't the process the same regardless of the color you choose?

As for the color of the shirt, I think it would look cool on any color shirt. The next question I would have is should it be on the front or the back? I personally don't like shirts with big logos on the front. I would rather see a small Matrox logo on the chest, and the big MU logo on the back.

Here is a bigger logo if you want to play with it.

The cost goes up with the number of colors. Each color requires its own stencil and swipe with the paint. Personally, I prefer the graphic on the front of the shirt: That way, you get to enjoy the design yourself every time you look at your reflection as well as you get to see people's reaction as they approach you. I've had some shirts with back face graphics/text that were interesting enough that people would spin me around so they could check it out. That can be fun depending on who's checking it out (Oops, I'm married). My vote is for the front.

                                Ok guy,

How about the two artists post the JPGs here, this time, LARGE files (>1000x1000 pixels) and people can tinker with them.

My personal preference would be the [MU] (23) on the front, as a logo, and 28 on the back.

I think 23 in the blue is nicer... more Matroxy.

I think its time to break out the heat transfer paper again.... *snicker*
