My system don't bootup after a reset ... and low 3DMarks ... G450 16MB DDR DH

Hi all,
my system don't bootup after a reset and also
the 3DMark's are down. What can I do? Is it possible that the bios-configuration is incorrect ?

Here are my system specs:

OS: Windows 98se
Epox MVP3G-M Award Bios v.4.51 Via-chipset
Matrox G450 16MB DDR DH Bios 1.3.23 driver 6.23
AMD K6-III/400MHz
128MB SDRAM Pc-100

Terratec xfire 1024
Haupauge WinTV primo
Abit HodRod UDMA66-controller
AVM ISDN-adapter Teledat150 PCI

IDE onboard:
Acer 4432a 2MB Buffer Pio 4 Master
Asus CD-S40 UDMA 33 Master

IDE controller:
Maxtor 13,6GB UDMA 66 Master
IomegaZip 100MB Pio 0 Master

-not possible:
IRQ-sharing
old drivers
old bios

-possible:
wrong configurated bios
I use no tweaks
...

IRQ assignments are ok and yes I use the propper patch.

I my mind it could be the Bios, like waitstates, AGP RAMsize, PCIcontroller runtimes, video shadows ... etc. !!!

Do anyone know somthing ... please answer!

also are you using the proper VIA patches for your mobo ?

So your G450 uses an IRQ of 9 or above and uses it on its own ?

- set graphics aperture size to 256MB
- diable all BIOS caching
- enable USWC (as opposed to UC)

... sorry, not much, but I don't have experience with Epox boards.

Yes it use an IRQ above 9 (IRQ11)

My 3DMarks are increase from 1526 to 2630!
I've switched AGP Sidebanding from 1x to 4x
and than all works nominal.
(Even Matrox don't known it)
