    Hi Chr79,

I came across this game last night on a newsserver it's a new game from tdk interactive/steel monkeys, inside the game you can choose one of the surround gaming resolutions but as soon as i try to apply it, it says not possible ?!?!?

corvette and choose new game corvette.

Can it be that it tries to set the resolution just for 1 screen (so 2400x600) on one monitor and that directx gives back no way hosse.

Can you advise me on how to tackle/bypass this problem because the game is great you can drive with any corvette you like and the graphics and sound are great.

PS: They deliver dirextx 9 with the game.

    Regards,
    Wingleader

    Hi Wingie,

i've just tried corvette and it works without problems in sg

Note that you first need to turn off dynamic reflections and video wall to should be able to select any sg resolutions.

If it works, you should post this on matrox's forum

      Chr_79,

      Thanks!!!!!!

I did not try out all the combinations, i had already found out that it would work with all the options turned on in 1920 x 480.

But yeah than you have 640x480 and that's not the way we want to play it.

Can you explain why the dynamic reflections and video wall should be off when you want to choose a res. higher than 1920?

Is this due to buffer sizes or something because than i can ask matrox to contact them and see if they can fix it or make a workaround.

Up to the next surround game, ps: how is it going with your POP SG hack is it already working and can it be released to the public?

      Regards,
      Wingie

PS: I will post this tommorow on the matrox boards.

          Hi Paddy,

Don't know if it's already out in the shops, i've got via the 'original fast internet channel' ;-) the newsgroups.

I know i should buy them but my hardware is already costing me a lot of money. Like the parhelia 3 x 19" etc.

If you want to know from which newsgroup i've got it i can PM you.

          Regards,

                Hi Guys,
I finaly managed to get a copy of the game and although it does work in Surround I can't get it to save the settings (for anything)... so each time I start up the game I have to go through setting up .....

Any ideas .... is it like this for you ?

                Cheers,

Rugby is hardly 'in the middle of nowhere!'
The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

Well spotted ... I'll clarify .... I live in a village near Rugby... too far from the exchange in to get a fast internet connection.... I've tried.

May be I should have said ...

as good as ... being in the middle of nowhere.

I sorted out my problem ... apparently you have to save your game and reload it each time in order to get your settings back. (Surround settings, Controller settings and races completed so far)

I'm really enjoying this one ... it works great in Surround.... I'm running it at 3480x1024.....

It would be so much better if the dynamic reflections and video walls worked.... hey ho ... some times you can't have everything !
