I just got UT2004. Onslaught is great fun

So how's this Xfire thing work? Is it a messenger thing, or does it just show where your friends are playing?

Are other people still getting time out errors?

Something cool I just found in the FAQ:

Well, you can't change your base username, but what you CAN do is change your Nickname, which is how you appear to all other users in their XFire client. For instance, if you go to Tools, Options, Display, and give yourself a new Nickname, whenever your friends log in again, you'll appear in their lists with that Nickname! If they open the expanded windowpane, they'll still be able to see your original username (so that people can't go around spoofing anyone!) but if you've got a clan tag or some other preferred name, you can appear as that name to other people.

Additional: Discovered, changes won't show up, for all, till parties at both ends Log Off / On

Alright, a bit behind the curve here, but I've added you all to my friends list. When I installed FarCry this popped up as an option to install and I remembered this thread.. are most of you still using it?

                              Anyhow, I'm there now.. kvhagedorn

I still use it, and still see others on it regularly.
