  • Image quality comparison

im really tired right now and need to go to bed soon, so probably this is nonsense, but it just occured to me that it is all but impossible to convince a nvidia user of superior image quality of other graphic card companys products (no need to name anyone ) with screenshots, because on their pc they all look crappy.

Yes but wouldn't the nvidea screen shot look double shit because it's been displayed twice through shitty cards.

nope ... the screenshots never pass those lousy filters unless it is displayed on an analog monitor ...

Has anyone seen a geforce2 based card after the filter removal? It isn't as good as my lovely g400, but it is a HUGE step up in picture quality.

I haven't Reverend Maynard, but can tell you from experience that the Creative was worse than others in the GeForce2 category.

I do have a G400 Guru and it isn't going back in.

Hey Hey... leave is 14"ers alone

                        Hey Hey Now.

                        Don't Diss the 14"er

Its plenty big for what I am using it for.

Edit : Sorry I thought you were talking about something else.

As for 14" Moniters.. you just need a good brand... My two both hit 1600*1200 at 32Bit Color (Its squeals a little... but I think it actually enjoys it.)

                        He He

Squeal Squeal... oh you bad bad moniter... Yes Yes... SQUEAL.

BTW... You guys are probably jelous because I have good enough Eyesight that I don't need anything bigger to read the text at 1600*1200

My eyesight won't be deteriorating as fast as it was before. (Now that I have a wife instead of a palm )

But my vision is nearsighted... so I can't see things clearly really far away... and my vision is fine until twilight... something about a stimatism in my right eye that causes impaired vision in lower light conditions.)

Also because of that I have a dominant left eye and almost perfect vision in it... the doctor said that if I wore an eyepatch... I might be able to semi correct the vision in the less dominant eye.. but she said that I would have frequent headaches as my brain tries to correct my vision in software instead of hardware... LOL
