SW:Galaxies is not on his list.

For a quickie, go after UT2003. The single-player portion of the game doesn't take too long, as it's primarily a multi-player game. I got through the single player portion of the game in just a few nights....

Powerslide (if it's the racing game).

I liked the storyline in WC3 enough to beat it.

Don't try for Broodwars, though. The penultimate mission is very hard, and the last mission is really, really, damn hard. I've never beaten it without cheating, and I'd say only about 10% of the people I know that play the game can.

-WC3 & Frozen Throne expantion (actually loved the expantion more)
-Star Trek Elite Force II (superb graphics)
-I still have to beat Jedi Knight 2 (can't remember where I got stuck) and I understand Jedi Academy is great too. My bro's so ecstatic about the demo and can't wait to get the game, as do many MURCers (see the gaming forum).
                    -Delta Force: Black Hawk Down

Oh, wait, this isn't about buying new games.
Well, go with WC3. Brood War's nice untill the last mission, as Wombat said it's hard to beat it, I never got to. My brother did it by turning the game speed down, quasi cheating if you will.
I got to start finishing UT2003 single player myself.
Remember playing Total Annihilation (can't remember what flavor) a few years back, nice graphics for the time, I just didn't stick to finishing it.

Oh yeah and see if you can find a copy of Star Wars TA as well (it's on the net somewhere...). Good fun if you like the star wars universe - you tend to use a lot more small units (eg stormtroopers) interspersed with some big AT-STs - sending a huge army of the little folk over a hill on an attack is really funny

Go the Total Annihilation route The original is fun. The Core Contingency will turn your hair white. The Korgoth is pure EVIL!!!!!!!!! It took me 6 hours to beat the Korgoth mission. 6 ^ %#@* HOURS!!!! The Korgoth will make you his beotch.
