For a movie that I watched for free (and my brother got payed to watch) it wasn't bad, it just didn't live up what it could have been. I've got the big book with all the stories, MP3's of the radio show, and the TV show on DVD and it just felt empty. Plus, for a PG movie I don't know how the heck they got by with someone swearing under their breath (don't ban me please!) "Belgium."

I was entertained by the movie, but listening to the radio show again since reminds me about all the fantastic stuff they removed. And the wonderful character exchanges that have been strangely cut short.
There just wasn't enough of the Guide itself either.
Not sure that some suits quite understood what makes hhg2g funny....

for those interested:
BBC is broadcasted the first of the original TV-series yesterday evening, so I assume they are showing the entire series again.
Most likely, they'll repeat it sometime this week.
