The problem with BC is that only responsible people employ it. This means an ever-increasing world population made up of primarily stupid, irresponsible people.

population is not the only concern, food is not in abundance as it used to be, the surplus we sold to overseas countries is non-existant for some food groups in the last 10-20 years. Russia used to buy all sorts of grain and other materials, now our farmlands are not as productive and the speed that crops are pushed to grow, the nutrition in that food is lower, making one eat more to get the RDA of nutrients that 20+ years ago there was no question of getting. The food pyramid is being modified to reflect new concerns/studies....

African nations are suffering starvation, and relief efforts are laughable, pledges are not being delivered as promised......drought prevents food from being grown, and as poor/unstable as these countries are, they dont have the means for desalination plants to save the population.....so what do we do? Walk in and setup desalination plants and pipelines throughout the countries to watch local warlords takeover as soon as the work is done for thier own purposes? UN has tried that before and failed, US troops died trying to monitor the situation and keep the aid flowing.....religious unrest/predjudice run rampant. Genocide is more common in poor countries as it ties in with political movements/change...... There is no easy solution, but action must be taken or we as a society are guilty of allowing the crimes there to take place.......

we need to fix these issues NOW, NOT 100-150 years out.....
Better to let one think you are a fool, than speak and prove it
