  • Holocaust Remembrance Day poster

Holocaust Remembrance Day is on Thursday and this is a very moving poster by Doriel Rimmer which was selected for this year.

Very poignant. And yet highly depressing. I can't even fathom the those depths of human depravity.

Yeah, my 8th grade history teacher did that.
She mostly wore dark long sleeved sweaters, but every once in a while her tattoo would peek out.
Only about twenty years after the end of the war.
It made quite a history lesson all by itself.

What I like most about this poster is that it just happens to be about the holocaust. Otherwise, it's about great loss and loneliness, it could be applied to any human of any race anywhere in the world. This poster touches almost any genocide survivor.
