New Matrox drivers cure my problem at least
With the installation of the latest Matrox drivers 5.41.008 & 1.52.033 for the display and video tools respectively, I can at last edit video at 352 X 288 PAL.
A previous posting to this group explained that using MediaStudio Pro V5.2, I was unable to edit any video captured at 352X288 without the Video Editor module of MSP5.2 crashing. I was restricted to capturing at 704 X 576, which worked OK, but consumed disk resources at an alarming rate.
So if anyone else is having edit related difficulties in MSP5.2, I strongly recommend downloading and installing the latest drivers.
