if you have trouble with interlaced mjpeg ...
... such as half-height and a green block, then may I suggest the following:
ctrl panel->multimedia->devices->video compression codecs
there you may see 'intel indeo video 4.4'
click on properties and *remove* this codec. it seems to be an inferior mjpeg codec, possibly installed with mediaplayer 6.4??
