Problem with G400 and DualHead Zoom

I just bought a G400 Millennium DH. Everything works fine except the DualHead Zoom option. I have defined some hotkeys, and when I use them the cursor changes shape and I can select a part of my desktop. But after that nothing else happens, there doesn't appear a zoomed image on my tv that I have attached to the second output.

The resolution I use on my monitor is 1280x1024 16bpp @ 70Hz.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just impossible to do a zoom on a normal TV?
