Although the MGA Gxxx video cards are not listed as being supported in the Linux version of the game, I find that it plays well on my G400MAX.
Note that the download is big (aren't all 3D games these days?). About 25MB for the Linux version and 21MB for the Win32 version.
The game is a lot of fun, IMHO.
