The Matrox RT2000 digital video editing board has finally been released and is shipping to retailers. This week Alain Legault, Vice Presedent of Matrox Video, called a major meeting of the division to announce that the RT-2000 had been officially launched, one day ahead of schedule!

Hah! What "schedule"?????
The damn thing was supposed to be out last September if I remember correctly.
Matrox certainly keeps funny "schedules." Just like Microsoft.
Well, hope it'll be worth the wait. And I hope the drivers are really damn stable right out of the door... Have yet to see a Matrox product that didn't require (at least) six months of waiting before they produced decently stable drivers with all the originally promised features.
Okay, so I'm in a bad mood today.
