I have tried several versions of the Video Tools software, even with a clean install of Win98.
The problem is simply that after a random amount of recording time the video tools stop recording video frames (without reporting them 'dropped') but continues recording sound. So the resulting AVI does not have enough video frames and is completely unusable.
Has anyone else seen and/or fixed this problem?
Thanks!
