  • Image gets corrupted in a AVI-clip - what to do?

    Hi!

    Here's a problem that I've been having:
When I try to capture TV with my Marvel
G400TV, at some point the AVI-clip turns into
a green screen (image is totally corruted).
It doesn't help if I try to copy the clip to
another HDD etc. At some point (704 x 576) the
image just gets corrupted and after 3 mins for example,
the picture in the same AVI-clip is ok again.

I have changed my motherboard to Abit BE6-II last week
and I've been having difficulties in trying to install
my PCI-cards there: there have been IRQ-conflicts etc.
For that reason I have disabled USB/COM/UDMA66 on the
Bios. Could this have something to do with the problems
I'm having. I didn't get problems like this with my earlier
    motherboard.
Currently I have installed on my computer:
    SCSI-adapter,
    Aureal Vortex SQ1500,
    56k modem (Diamond),
    G400TV,
HDDs: IBM 6.4 GB, IBM 10 GB, Maxtor 40 GB
    2 x CD-rom + 1 x DVD
Celeron 500 + 128 MB memory (SDRAM DIMM, old)
    Windows98 SE

I have a fresh Win98 runnign in my computer and I have installed
the latest drivers for my Marvel G400TV.

What to do to make the capture to work?
Should I enable the UDMA66 and put my Maxtor there? (It worked
ok in my earlier computer, which didn't have UDMA66)
That's what I will try to do next atleast.

    Thank you for any help,
