How to get great VCD quality with MSP6?

I've seen postings about how MSP6 has produced the best VCD's some of you have seen. Is this using the GoMotion capabilities with the YUY2 reg hack? Or was it capturing in MJPEG and converting to MPEG1(VCD) with LSX? Could you please state both your settings for the capture... I have tried several combinations but the results are still fairly blocky. I have a G400/RRG capture card in a PIII 450MHz system with 128MB of ram and dual 10GB 7200rpm drives on UDMA66 channels.
