Anybody out there using the G400-TV with VideoWaveIII. I just got the G400-TV in January and have it installed in the following system.
PIII - 600
ASUS P3BF motherboard
128 RAM
20 GIG HD - 7200 RPM - OVer 11meg/sec in HD Benchmark
Win98se
I purchased VideoWaveIII because it was much more powerful than the Avid Cinema that came with the card. All it seems to do is crash.
After a few captures it stops capturing and the system crashes on the way out of VW3. After editing a few scenes, the system will lock up and I will have to CTRL-ALT-DEL to make it exit. Very frustrating. I have gone back to Avid Cinema and it works fine.
I am not sure of all the drivers I am using since I don't know how to find all the info for all of them. I am using the drivers that came with the product. It was delivered in January so I would think most of them are fairly recent. I did install VW3 after installing all the Matrox applications. Avid works great....it is just a weak product.
Anybody know how to get the configurations correct.
Thanks
