No sounds @ W2k w/ G200 Marvel
I have this extremely weird problem with W2k Pro and Marvel G200 -- I don't have desktop sounds at all, WinAMP doesn't work, etc.. But only thing that fixes this is to launch a capture program like AVI_IO or PCVCR. I'm using VideoTools 2.00beta (because it works nicely, although only problem is that once I _close_ AVI_IO, the system restarts :-).
This is slightly annoying especially because I have problems with PCVCR & AVI_IO every now and then (for some reason, like every 7-8 weeks system decides that it's time to do something and when I launch a capture program it halts the system and only way to get around this is to physically remove the "BOB box" and boot again and install it back).
Ideas?
