Hi All!
I have a rather strange problem that perhaps some of the experts here can shed some light on. I am starting to transfer some of my very old SciFi video tapes to DVD, but looking at the captures I have noticed quite a bit of "jerking" during medium to fast motion sequences. The jerking is more prevalent on vertical motion than on horizontal but it is present in both directions.
At first I thought it was something happening during the capture since it does not jerk when played on a VCR, but it is present even if I just watch the tape through the G400-TV card. As a test, I recorded a clip off of TV and tried that on the G400 and it was fine. Apparently the "jerking" only manifests when using pre-recorded taoes. Any got any ideas?
Thanks!
Karen
