Task: Analog capture matrox MJPEG full screen PAL, edit, save out to SVHS video VCR.
I note on installation of MSP6.5 that the template in MSP editor for On-Line Video PAL 25fps>is up as follows:-
1. Field Order A
2. Overlay 3
3. Audio&Video
4. Standard 720x576
5. Target Drive Custom
6. Interleave A&V (pack audio 1 frame)
7. Compression Morgan MJPEG V3
8. Data 24bit
9. PCM Audio 44K 16 bit
Now my captured video is Matrox MJPeg 704x576 and I want to save my edited end project to S-VHS PAL tape.
Query:- Should I change any of the above specs on this template before I do this?
eg. Should I change the frame size to 704x576 and use Matrox MJPEG for compression and down the audio to 22K (as its going to tape not CDROM)?
-
or is it the fact that sending to tape requires NO(re)compression?
Under what circumstances would one opt to use a 720x576 frame size for PAL on-line video (as set in template default)?
Many thanks for helping
