It was suggested to me that i try this forum for my problem So here i am!
I have a media PC that i am connecting up to a standard 16:9 TV. I am doing this via SCART with my G400. This all works just fine and gives a very good picture.
However (there's always one of these isn't there?) i have problems with Quicktime files when i am using the Clone feature of the card. The video is jerky and unwatchable (not ideal for a media PC). I am using the Quicktime alternative and Zoom Player.
So i have tried using multiple monitors and setting the TV to be the primary display. This works really well and the Quicktime files are fine. BUT i can't select a widescreen resolution (856x480 or 1024x576), and i NEED to be able to do this.
Any ideas as to what i can try?
I need to either be able to change the 2nd monitor's (TV) resolution to a widescreen one, OR get the overlay issues (i assume this is the problem) sorted with the cloning.
Thank you
