Hi all,
I am really relieved I found this forum. Hopefully my question won't get too much flaming. sorry if these are dumb questions. I currently have a g200 with a RR-g add on card and would like to do some captures of home movies to edit and archive before they turn to dust. I just added a SIIG 3 port fire wire card to use with my sony trv-103.
Here are my questions.. If i am using Uleads Media studio pro for vidcap.. I can not see any video, I can control the camera with the computer but no video onscreen, am I doing this correctly or should I be using the rainbow runner to do an analog capture and bypass the fire wire?? also, I would like to capture straight to MPG-2 instead of mjpeg and the whole conversion process, is this possible? and if so how do I do it?
I just ran out earlier and bought the marvel g400-tv but havent had a chance to swap it yet.
Thanks a ton!
