Got another AIW Radeon, and I am kinda happy...
I got a free AIW Radeon so I thought I would give it another try. Well using the MS DV patch which gives me a WDM to VFW wrapper, I can finally use VirtualDub 1.4c under W2K with the Radeon. It is nice to capture at 480x480! Really cuts down on the time in TMPEG when encoding SVCD's.
The wrapper is kind of slow though, when trying to capture at 720x480 29.97fps in UYVY and encoding with Huffyuv, it drops frames really bad. This is with an Athlon 1.3 oc'd to 10x143 for 1430MHz and 384MB Crucial PC133 CAS2 memory running at 7ns timing. Oh well, back to tweaking.
