Morgan MJPEG Codec Maximum Settings?
I have a RR-S series Rainbow Runner.
I have tried the Morgan MJPEG codec but am not getting the results I want from it.
I want to use it in Win NT to create .avi files within such software as 3DS Max, Adobe After Effects, Digital Fusion etc, using field rendering.
Regardless of the program used, the resulting file quality level should be pretty much the same and dependant on the quality settings that I select for the MJPEG codec.
Can someone advise all the maximum settings that I can set in the codec settings for the files. Then I want reboot to Win 98 and play it back immediately using the Rainbow Runner, without jerkiness and at the highest quality which the card can output.
However, presently, as I am unsure of these settings, I am just using 100 as the quality setting then re-rendering the file under Win 98, using the Matrox MJPEG codec.
Also, could someone advise whether or not the files will be re-compressed (loosing quality?) during subsequent editing, if I always keep the settings the same as what you advise.
