Hi,
I currently own a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, but need a new card so I can transfer my Minidisc and DAT recordings optically to my computer.
There is an issue with SB Live cards, where the sound card would resample all incoming digital data, including 44.1 data. I would prefer if I could transfer without any resampling, as you can do with higher end cards such as ones made by Echo.
Does anyone know if the Audigy resamples like the Live card?
Also, if I go with the Audigy, I was hoping to get the eX, with the black external box to match my case. (all aluminum Lian Li, great case!) Is it possible to remove the housing and use it as an internal component?
thanks,
Terry
