After the sale of my shuttle, i am currently left with a PIII 600, with 400+ PC100 Ram and of course my Matrox G400 with RGB Scart.
I am running windows 2000 on the system and it seems responsive enough, but my backed up Xvid encoded files are not playing 100% smoothly (using dvdmax to output to TV) as i thought they would.
A further problem is that, to use subtitles i need Windows Media Player Classic to be set to DirectX9 (renderless), however when set at that dvdmax does not out put the picture to my TV. Why is this?
