Those @home users that recently upgraded their browsers, may have noticed an extra file that may be causing your system to act shyty....
Tiagora Protection (dna strand) was a new program that was in our last Update. The Tiagora protection, is a network manager, and reestablishes network settings from the previous session. Ie.... if you restart your computer. it is supposed to reconnect at all the same network specs. I guess they designed this for the numerous amounts of IRC software that configure your network manually---- the point is: It doesnt work correctly. It stops responding immed. after launching, and causes defrag, and scan disk not to operate correctly. It runs hidden, but can be accessed through crtl-alt-delete> TGSCHED is the program... If anyone has exhibited this problem, as well please let me know how to fix/tweak it.
I have not yet contacted Tech Support, but they did tell me that the program was extra and not needed... : )
