Mystique 170 and DC10+

Ok, I know DC's and Matrox are a bad setup. But anyway, there is a problem that no one at Pinnacle could awnser. The "DDraw primary overlay" works in a funny manner, and a little hard to explain. Imagine I boot the PC, press on the "Start" button, and navigate the menu to the VidCap application. When I open the prog, in the overlay window, the video appears... except on the parts where the "Start" button menu appeared. The image is simply not updated, as if the card was thinking the menu was still there... It's not problematic, as keeping the VidCap in the same place, and swapping overlay/preview a couple of times, kinda fixes it. But it's annoying. Does anyone knows this problem ? My first toughts go to the BIOS. It is the revision 1.8 RR, because I tried a Rainbow Runner before I bought the DC. It turned out the Zoran chip was fried, but I seem unable do downgrade my bios, and even if I could, I don't think it will solve it.

My current system is :

Pentium 200MMX
Asustec motherboard.
64Meg Ram
Matrox Mystique 170 w/ 1.8 RR bios
Pinnacle MiroVideo DC10+
ISA AWE64

No IRQ conflics found. No Busmaster problems found.
