Couple trends: clearly everyone seems to be going quadcore, and single cores are finally dying out. People seem to have skipped over dual cores (I know I did, as did my brother, who is now on his second quadcore).
Also noticed that the # of votes has gone down from the previous year - perhaps along with a general decline of active MURCers. Or no one cares about computers anymore
    Q9450 + TRUE, G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2, GTX 560, ASUS X48, 1TB WD Black, Windows 7 64-bit, LG M2762D-PM 27" + 17" LG 1752TX, Corsair HX620, Antec P182, Logitech G5 (Blue)
    Laptop: MSI Wind - Black

We have some dual core laptops, but the home and studio desktops, save for one DAW, are i7's.

Exceptions also for the Atom 330 dualies in our Acer Aspire REVO nettop HTPC's.

I think many of us went from single core to hyperthreading... The real dual cores weren't around for that long...
