I kicked the $hit outta that lamer V770 
Got it to run after about 3 hours of dinking around with 7 different programs and it ended up I had to use a real early version of the nvflash program that didn't distinguish between EEPROMS...
Yay.. I get my GF2 back and now I can play desktop at 1024*768@32bit
I am going to miss the sharper image quality that the 815 onboard video provided.
Oh and things I have found out about the onboard video
1)Sharper Image and Text Quality
2)It will play Half Life, Unreal Tournament, Black and White, and Driver half decent
3)It came with the board and it worked good
(betcha can't say that about some higher end video cards)
And overall I was impressed
