Konnekt 24D / 8 £349 and £249 respectively.
This and a pair of active Dynaudio BM5A (£699) for example would be a neat solution for stereo playback / high quality recording with minimal clutter!!
Can even be used standalone mode with PC off and Spdif in the back. The analog volume control on the front is cool as it controls headphone out and the balanced jack on the back. Muting and non muting headphone.
